Limbo Review
By Sclaibe20

Imagine waking up alone in a dark, creepy forest full of traps, monsters, and other obstacles. This is exactly what happens when you begin playing Limbo.
Once the main character opens his eyes, the game’s nonstop action gets rolling right from the start. Limbo is set in a dark, black and white world. Initially I was skeptical of the appearance but, the more I played Limbo, the more I came to appreciate the brilliance of the seemingly simple surroundings. The darkness and ambient noises add to the creepiness in which the creators of Limbo have captured perfectly. The game play is simple, using two buttons to jump and push/pull items. The world of Limbo offers a lot of items to interact with (boats, vines, bear traps, etc.), so be ready to use your imagination in order solve the many puzzles this game has to offer.
If you are going to play Limbo, you need to be prepared to die, a lot! With the numerous deaths you will encounter, also comes new life. The game has no limit on number of deaths and allows you to restart from the moment just before you died. So try not to get discouraged. With the frustration of death also comes the satisfaction of finally getting past that trap that caused your unfortunate demise over and over again. While this game doesn’t disappoint in many areas, I was definitely let down as far as length of play was concerned. With that being said, as an arcade game, I think the experience is well worth while. I highly recommend you go to the Xbox market and download the trial at the very least. Limbo is one of the most unique and original games on the market, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
